I, (APS) Annemiek Pas Schrijver, participated in the Geer/Jeker River Walk organized by the Limburg Waterboard (Netherlands) in collaboration with Li An Pho from Drinkable Rivers. Together with a diverse group of people, including artists, worried citizens, water managers from different Walloon, Flemish and Dutch institutes as well as students and scientists. The walk started at the source of the Geer, in Lens-Saint-Remy. For three days we walked along different sections of the river with enough time to talk, discuss, learn, and listen to the river.

Walking with a mixed group of participants and each with their own set of relations toward each other and the river ended up in a connecting activity.
